Maintenance Technician

Our client is seeking 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician in Norther Illinois-Dakota

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on production machinery and facility support equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment as well as plant mechanical systems and develop sustainable solutions accordingly.
• Assist with equipment changeovers and line startups, troubleshooting issues as needed.
• Participates in Continuous Improvement, also provides suggestions to improve processes, and participates in team projects

Qualifications:

• At least 3years’ experience in a Maintenance role
• Or three years of experience in industrial equipment Boiler, Chiller, OR HVAC

• Strong mechanical background in a production setting; Installation, troubleshooting and repairing gearboxes, sprocket/chains, belts, clutches, bearings, brakes, seals, and gaskets.

Schedule:

• This role works on a 2-2-3 schedule, so they only work about 1/2 the days each year. This gives extra days off and time to enjoy a work life balance.
