Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Seeking a highly experienced Emergency Room RN for a busy and high-acuity ER environment. The candidate must have extensive travel experience, with a minimum of three completed ER assignments, and possess strong clinical skills to manage diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide urgent nursing care to adolescents through geriatrics in a fast-paced, high-volume ER setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in managing stroke and STEMI cases, adhering to protocols and quality standards.
• Utilize Epic and Pyxis systems efficiently to document patient information and manage medications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
• Comply with all hospital policies, including holiday and call requirements, and adhere to RTO policies.
• Complete all required clinical screens and ensure full compliance prior to start date.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license for GA or a Compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience, with at least 3 completed travel assignments.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS is required.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently in a large, high-acuity ER.
• Proven experience working with Epic electronic health records and Pyxis medication systems.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills, able to thrive in a collaborative environment.
