Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher at two welcoming elementary schools near Minneapolis, MN. The roles are available for the full 2026–2027 academic year, with placements in dedicated programs—one focusing on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Maplewood, and the other in Shoreview.

Key Qualifications:

• Possession of a valid Minnesota Tier 3 or 4 Special Education teaching license
• ABS (Academic and Behavioral Strategist) or ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) endorsement
• Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly those in specialized programs, is preferred
• Strong communication skills and a committed, team-oriented approach

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom culture for students with disabilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and family members to maximize student success
• Utilize evidence-based strategies and differentiated instruction to facilitate academic and social growth
• Monitor progress, collect data, and adjust instruction accordingly
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to all compliance standards

This full-time, contract opportunity follows a school-year calendar from August 31, 2026, through June 9, 2027. The work schedule runs from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day. In return for your dedication, you can expect a competitive hourly wage ranging from $39 to $46.
