Walk into a different home every day and help free people from under a mountain of stuff.

Some homes hold fifty years of life. For the family, that accumulated stuff can feel like a weight they cannot lift, literally and emotionally. You are the crew that clears the path forward. In a single week you will see homes, collections, and stories you would never otherwise encounter, and you will leave each one lighter than you found it: sorted into what gets sold, donated, recycled, and cleared.

This is hands-on, physical, get-a-little-dirty work, and people who like it really like it: the variety, the visible progress, the satisfaction of an empty, ready-to-sell house at the end. No two days are the same.

What you will actually do

• Work through homes room by room, sorting belongings into sell, donate, recycle, and discard
• Do the physical work of moving, hauling, and clearing as part of a team
• Treat every home and every family's history with respect, even at the dumpster
• Help get homes fully cleared and ready to list

Every clearout has someone running it. On days that's you, you earn an extra $2.50/hr for every hour of that shift. As a Clearout Shift Lead you own the day: you're the client's and the manager's point of contact, you direct the crew, you keep track of what the family is retaining, and you're the one who walks the house at the end and leaves it right. It's real responsibility, and it's how we find out who is ready for more. We would rather grow our leaders than hire them. If that's the direction you want to go, say so in your application. • Like to work hard, move fast, and see a job finished
• Have the strength and stamina to stay active, lift, and haul across a roughly 6-hour shift
• Do not mind dust, clutter, and the occasional surprise in the attic
• Want part-time, as-needed work (Monday through Friday business hours, no nights or weekends required)
• Want more than a shift. You're interested in eventually running jobs, not just working them.

The practical details

Reliable personal transportation and a working smartphone required. Background check required. Starting pay is $18/hr, plus a $2.50/hr Shift Lead premium on any day you're running the crew. On jobs requiring heavy lifting (basement hauls, furniture removal, large appliances), you earn an additional $3.50/hr for those hours our way of paying for the specific effort when we need it most and rewarding the people who show up ready to do the hard work. There is also a clear path to a shift-lead premium for people who want to take on more responsibility over time. Great fit if you want roughly 10 to 25 hours per week, with room to take on more during our busy season.
