Custodian - 1st Shift

Responsibilities Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment Anticipates problems such as unavoidable delays in material shortages and informs area supervisor or other involved personnel, and/or solves problems as required. Requires lifting and transporting of waste and cardboard as necessary. Physical requirements for lifting medium and heavy weights, not to exceed 40 pounds, as required. May be required to operate hand lift truck or other material handling devices. Cleans restrooms, break rooms, office areas and conference rooms. May be required to perform additional miscellaneous duties as directed by immediate supervisor within the scope of the job. Support functions. Assists in the training and qualification of other associates. Assists in the development of more efficient ways of maintaining the plant. Equipment Used Various assembly hand and air tools. Required Qualifications Ability to lift 40 pounds. Ability to drive fork truck.
