Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Cook Orthodontics is seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthodontic Dental Assistant (ODA) to join our Springfield, PA team. Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Assist orthodontist during patient exams and procedures

Take and develop dental X-rays following safety protocols

Maintain accurate patient records using Carestream software

Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain operatory cleanliness

Educate patients on orthodontic care and appliance maintenance

Schedule appointments and support front office as needed

full-time $24 - $26 per hour

Monday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Tuesday: 10:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

• Certified Orthodontic Assistant
• Other Dental Software
• X-ray / Radiography Certification

Valid Orthodontic Dental Assistant (ODA) certification

Minimum 1 year of orthodontic assisting experience

Certified and skilled in dental X-ray operation

Proficiency with Carestream dental software

Strong communication and organizational skills

• Basic life support
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Experience working in a similar orthodontic setting

Knowledge of additional digital imaging technologies

CPR certification
