Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (Day Shift)

ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (Day Shift) in Corsicana, Texas.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts. No call or block scheduling.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in a Level IV Trauma hospital, working primarily with a patient ratio of 1:5 in the Emergency Department, which consists of 14 beds. Candidates will utilize the MedHost electronic medical record system.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assess and monitor patient conditions, documenting findings accurately.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize the MedHost EMR system for accurate record-keeping.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• Experience in a Level IV Trauma facility is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active RN licensure in Texas.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
