Registered Nurse - Med Surg / OrthopedicsHealth First Careers is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Orthopedics department. As a Registered Nurse in our Med Surg / Orthopedics unit, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting a positive and healing environment for our patients.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient's conditionCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plansAdminister medications and treatments as prescribed by physiciansMonitor and document patient's progress and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare providersEducate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and self-care techniquesMaintain accurate and up-to-date patient recordsAdhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulationsQualifications:Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of FloridaMinimum of 1 year of experience in Med Surg or Orthopedics nursingBLS and ACLS certificationsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentCompassionate and patient-centered approach to careStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsAdditional Parameters:This is a part-time position, with the potential for full-time hours in the futureMust be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidaysCompetitive salary and benefits package offeredJoin our team at Health First Careers and make a difference in the lives of our patients every day.
