Phlebotomist III - Floater

Pay Rate: $28/hr

Employment Type: Contingent

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–6:00pm

As a Phlebotomist, you represent the face of the organization to patients during important moments in their healthcare journey. As a floater, your experience and flexibility help ensure continuity of care across multiple sites while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and patient trust.

What You'll Do

• Perform daily phlebotomy and specimen processing activities accurately and on time

• Collect both clinical and forensic specimens following established practices and procedures

• Verify patient demographics and specimen labeling, including patient signature post‑venipuncture

• Maintain required records and documentation with strong attention to confidentiality and accuracy

• Create and maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for patients

• Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections

• Minimum two years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred

• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision

• Strong organizational skills in a high-volume, fast-paced setting

• Flexibility to support staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, overtime, and travel to multiple locations with minimal notice

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, if applicable

• Keyboarding and data entry experience

• Ability to meet compliance requirements
