Data Engineer

What to Expect As a Data Engineer in the global EHS&S data team, you'll build and scale solutions to directly support Tesla's Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHS&S) goals. This includes end-to-end ownership of the data pipelines that feed the most-viewed dashboard in Tesla, creating the data models and architecture for internal LLMs that support EHS&S specialists with classifying injury events and generating actions to prevent recurrences, and collaborating cross-functionally to power internal and external reporting (e.g., the Tesla Impact Report). A successful candidate is a hands-on engineer who thrives on solving complex problems, leading end-to-end projects with competing priorities, and is a team player with strong communication skills.
