About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of People and Culture to serve as a strategic executive leader, driving the development and advancement of a high-performing, people-centered organizational culture. The successful candidate will be a key member of the executive leadership team, providing enterprise-wide leadership in human capital strategy, organizational development, workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and culture transformation. This role requires a champion of initiatives that foster innovation, accountability, inclusivity, and employee well-being, all while ensuring alignment with the company's mission, values, and long-term strategic objectives. The VPPC will also be responsible for maintaining the company's status as an employer of choice within the aviation, transportation, and public service sectors. Applicants for the VPPC position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 15 years of HR leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior executive or enterprise role. The role demands a professional with a proven track record in culture transformation, workforce strategy, and leadership development, and experience in highly regulated industries is a plus. The ideal candidate will possess strategic and visionary leadership capabilities, deep expertise in organizational culture, and a strong understanding of DEIB principles. Advanced analytical, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills are essential, as is experience with HR technologies and workforce analytics systems. The VPPC will be measured on various success criteria, including employee retention, engagement scores, and DEIB representation benchmarks.
