Title: Automatic Door Field Service Technician
Location: Central Florida – Orlando, Kissimmee, Oviedo, and surrounding areas
Description:
Hands-on field service role supporting commercial automatic pedestrian door systems. The technician will troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and service automatic doors, operators, sensors, locks, and related door hardware.
This is a home-based field service position covering Central Florida customer locations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial automatic pedestrian doors.
· Troubleshoot operators, sensors, activation devices, electrical components, and controls.
· Service electric locks, maglocks, panic/exit devices, and access-control hardware.
· Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
· Use manufacturer manuals and technical resources to diagnose problems.
· Complete service reports and communicate with customers.
· Participate in a local on-call rotation and occasional after-hours work.
What You Bring:
· Active AAADM certification required.
· 5+ years of commercial automatic pedestrian door service experience preferred.
· Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
· Experience with automatic door operators, sensors, locks, and access-control systems.
· Ability to independently diagnose and resolve technical problems.
· Good customer communication skills.
· Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
