Our Subject Matter Experts offer decades of experience working in the federal marketplace and the data visualization environment.The Senior Data Scientist will build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.ResponsibilitiesIdentify emerging data governance, data and system interoperability, and data ecosystem challenges and recommend solutionsBuild analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metricsCreate data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing productsCommunicate effectively through listening, documentation, and presentations, especially using compelling visualization tools to share analysis and interpretation of dataOther duties as assignedQualificationsMaster of Science and 10+ years of experienceActive Top Secret clearance required, with the ability to obtain an SCISuccessfully pass background and drug screeningPreferred Qualifications:Experience in Amazon Web ServicesKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Mastery of at least one of the following data programming languages or statistical tools (or their successors or analogs), as well as significant experience with at least one additional language or tool (or their successors or analogs), in the development, maintenance, and support of data ingestion, analysis, and interpretation: Python, SQL, R, SAS, JavaScript (full-stack)How you'll growAt Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their careers to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
