Position Behavior Technician Location Harwinton Consolidated School, Harwinton & Burlington, CT Schedule 7.25 hours per day Wages Starting wages: $21.75/hr Reports to Building and Department Administrators Starting Date January 13, 2025 Job Summary Behavior Technicians will assist, tutor, and instruct students with behavioral and/or mental health needs. They will work with a BCBA and/or Special Education teacher to implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans, as well as special education programming. They support core academics, executive functioning skills, and student care, contributing to positive educational outcomes. Responsibilities Assist with direct implementation of skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans developed by a BCBA or Special Education teacher. Assist with implementation of Special Education programming. Assist with core academics, executive functioning skills, and student care. Qualifications Certified Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician. Completion of additional 40 hours of training for Behavior Technicians (link provided).
