As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets according to specifications. This is a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring the production of high-quality metal components.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheetsRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine specificationsSelect appropriate tooling and adjust machine settings for each jobLoad and unload materials onto the machineMonitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as neededInspect finished products for quality and accuracyFollow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work areaQualificationsSkills: To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of press brake operationsAbility to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and job ordersProficiency in programming press brake machinesBasic math skills for measurements and calculationsFamiliarity with lathe operations and hand toolsKnowledge of machining processes and techniquesExperience using micrometers for precision measurementsFamiliarity with operating cranes for material handlingIf you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for precision metalworking, we encourage you to apply for this position.
