Tutor - Behavior Support Program

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor to provide individualized academic support to students in our behavioral support classroom. Location and Start Date Location: Windsor Locks Middle School. Position Start Date: Start of the 26–27 School Year. Responsibilities Work one‑on‑one and in small groups with students on academic skills aligned with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and grade level curriculum. Implement and monitor the students Behaviour Intervention Plan to promote a safe and productive learning environment. Collaborate with the classroom teacher and support staff to develop and implement effective instructional and behavioral strategies. Monitor student progress, document observations, and report back to the classroom teacher. Contribute to a positive and encouraging atmosphere that fosters student self‑esteem and motivation. Maintain accurate and confidential student records. Qualifications and Compensation Must have a bachelor’s degree. Salary: Up to 32.5 hours per week, $30.74 per hour.
