Key Responsibilities\nAs a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Compass Professional Health Care, your primary responsibilities will include:

- Establishing a trusting, therapeutic relationship with patients, creating a safe space for open dialogue and personal growth. \n
- Diagnosing and treating various mental health disorders, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. \n
- Designing and implementing personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments of patient needs and circumstances. \n
- Regularly meeting with patients to provide ongoing counseling and support, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to reflect each patient's progress and changing needs. \n
- Conducting continuous evaluations to monitor treatment effectiveness and patient development, ensuring optimal care. \n
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and health coaches, to provide holistic care and appropriate referrals as necessary. \n
In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele that includes individuals, couples, and families—many of whom are navigating complex emotional and relational challenges. You will be instrumental in addressing a range of mental health issues, among them substance abuse and co-occurring disorders, using therapeutic techniques tailored to each unique situation.
Qualifications\nTo be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

- Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Tennessee. \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field. \n
- Proficiency with evidence-based practices for treating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. \n
While not required, the following experiences would enhance your application:

- Specialized training or certification in addiction counseling, providing deeper insights into the challenges faced by clients with substance use issues. \n
- Demonstrated success in engaging with clients through teletherapy, including familiarity with digital treatment tools and platforms. \n

Compass Professional Health Care offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000–85,000 annually, in addition to a robust benefits package which includes:
