This role is being listed as a 6-month contract position with potential to go perm with the Client!

Inventory Specialist/Material Handler to join a leading Company located in the Huntsville, AL surrounding area.

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.00

**US Citizenship is required.**

The successful candidate shall work as a Inventory Specialist/Material Handler for a production and integration facility supporting DoD customers. The candidate shall be responsible for performing a wide array of warehouse jobs. Duties include: developing raw material requirements and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules as well as planning and managing material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production. Impact: Works to achieve day to day objectives consisting of tasks that are very routine, or well-defined, with specific instructions.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

• Typically requires high school diploma or equivalent and less than 1 year of prior relevant experience.
• Experience in Cycle Counting, putting away product, pick/pack.
• Familiarity with MRP systems
• Foundational understanding of ISO, Quality Assurance, and Configuration Management practices.
• Proactive approach to solving problems.
• Understanding of Electrostatic Display (ESD), and materials protection.
• Understanding of Government DD Forms.

• Ability to prioritize work and meet strict deadlines.
• Attention to detail is critical.
• Ability work through issues with all levels of team members
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel. Linux is a plus
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, to stand for prolonged periods, and to climb ladders to pull inventory from shelves.
