All our group homes are in the Bloomington, MN area.We currently are looking for Direct Support Professionals to work with our residents at several of our Bloomington homes. Our current overnight shift availability is Sunday-Wed 10pm-8am.Starting Salary: $17.00-$18.00 hourlyBenefits: Eligible 1st of the month after 60 days employment. Health insurance (ICHRA), Dental, Vision, Company Paid Life/LTD. 401k-eligible after 90 days employment. Must be scheduled 30+ hours per week to be benefits-eligible.What do Connections Direct Support Professionals do?DSPs provide a variety of services to our residents, and duties vary from program to program, but may include (but are not limited to):Providing care giver services to our residents, including personal cares when appropriate and necessaryTeaching and maintaining skillsCooking, meal preparation, and feeding assistanceProviding support with hobbies, studies, and social activitiesParticipating in the development of Individual Program PlansMedication administrationParticipating in fun recreational activities with residents!Our DSP jobs are ideal for someone who:Wants to make a difference in someone's life!Needs experience in the health care field.Is looking for an entry level opportunity as someone new or returning to the workforce and/or interested in the Human Services fieldWants flexible full-time or part-time shifts that fit with your work-life balanceWhat skills do care givers need?No degree is required! Employees in driving positions will also be subject to a Motor Vehicle Background check. Continued employment will be contingent on a cleared background study and a satisfactory MVR.
