Physician Assistant for Orthopaedic Urgent Care
Palm Beach Orthopaedic Institute, PA
Orthopaedic Urgent Care (walk-in) Clinic is seeking a part time physician assistant (PA) to join our ortho urgent care team in our Wellington and Palm Beach Gardens locations. Must be able to evaluate and treat orthopedic conditions. Digital X-ray onsite. Clinic hours Monday - Friday: 4pm-8pm, Saturday: 8am-2pm. Essential Job Responsibilities Conduct physical examinations, assess health/condition status, prescribe necessary medications, treat appropriately. Consult with physician as needed. Triage patients and evaluate problems. Respond to emergencies. Communicate with patients on continuation of care and follow-up requirements. Document patient information and care in medical record. Requirements Education Active PA license required. Experience Minimum of one year of recent experience working in a clinical setting. Orthopedic experience a plus. Athena (EMR) experience a plus.
