Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Facility: West Volusia Healthcare & Rehabilitation Location: Deltona, FL Shift: Full-Time, All Shifts Salary: Up to $19.50/hr + shift differentials Why Join Us At West Volusia Healthcare & Rehabilitation, our residents come first-and so do our team members. As a CNA, you'll play a vital role in providing compassionate care, supporting daily living, and creating a safe, comfortable environment for our residents. Key Responsibilities Provide hands‑on care for residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility support. Monitor resident health by tracking vitals, weight, and input/output. Communicate changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly. Assist nurses and medical staff with procedures and treatments as needed. Ensure resident rooms and common areas are clean, safe, and comfortable. Offer companionship, emotional support, and social interaction. Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines. Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests. Accurately document care provided and report concerns or changes. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid Florida CNA license. Minimum 2 years of experience in long‑term care or similar setting. Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and professionalism.
