Location Sam's Club #6445 – 17700 Murdock Cir, Port Charlotte, FL 33948-1054 Responsibilities Be a Team Member : Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross‑functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with team members; and be flexible to the needs of the business by working in other areas. Be an Expert : Prepare food according to item specifications; understand and plan future production and mass production; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold‑chain compliance, and inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; and demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution. Be a Techie : Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering, club pick‑up orders, training, and product quality; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner : Drive the performance of the area; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date‑control standards; eliminate waste; provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs; assist members with purchasing decisions, payment types, locating merchandise, and resolving member issues and concerns. Be a Talent Ambassador : Act as a brand advocate; develop, influence, and inspire others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team‑oriented style; understand roadblocks and assist in training. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; implement related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; and apply these in executing business processes and practices. Compensation The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. Additional premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances such as schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Will successfully complete all required job trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period. Preferred Qualifications Food Safety Certification. Food Service Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
