Job Description

Auric Road LMR Management LLC, located at 106 E Babcock St, Suite 2D, Bozeman, Montana 59715, with Phone View phone number on click.appcast.io, is looking to fill 6 Line Cook positions from 12/21/2026 to 09/21/2027. This is temporary peak-load, full-time employment.

Duties include:

Under the supervision of the Culinary Director, the Line Cook prepares and presents high-quality food across breakfast, lunch, and dinner service while upholding Lone Mountain Ranch's standards for quality, consistency, sanitation, and teamwork. The Line Cook prepares menu items according to established recipes, cooking techniques, and presentation standards, producing consistent, high-quality food while maintaining proper portion sizes and minimizing waste. This includes executing both buffet and à la carte production as assigned and completing all necessary prep work so that stations remain stocked and service-ready throughout each shift. In addition to food preparation, the Line Cook is responsible for setting up, stocking, and maintaining assigned stations before, during, and after service, anticipating product needs and replenishing ingredients as service progresses. Opening, transition, and closing checklists must be completed thoroughly, and workstations should always be left clean, organized, and prepared for the next shift. The Line Cook follows all sanitation, food safety, and health department requirements, monitors food temperatures, product quality, and freshness throughout service, and prevents spoilage through proper storage, labeling, rotation, and handling of food products, while maintaining exceptional cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workspaces, and storage areas. Working alongside the culinary team, the Line Cook communicates effectively with chefs and fellow team members to maintain efficient kitchen operations and collaborates with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery. Line Cook responds professionally to special requests, dietary restrictions, and food allergy accommodations, and contributes to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.

Workers must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and organization, along with a positive, team-oriented attitude, the ability to follow instructions, and reliable attendance; the ability to safely operate commercial kitchen equipment after training is required. Physically, this role requires standing and walking for extended periods, frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, twisting, and lifting, with the ability to regularly lift to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds, as well as frequently transporting dishes, cookware, and supplies throughout the kitchen, including navigating stairs, and safely operating dishwashing equipment and cleaning chemicals.

Workers will be paid no less than $20.25 per hour, based on experience. Overtime is available and will be paid at $30.38 the hourly rate. The overtime guidelines are yes, and there will be up to 10 hours of Overtime available. Workers will work 8 hours per day, divided into different shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. This position may be assigned to morning, afternoon, or evening shifts depending on operational needs and is expected to perform successfully during each service period. The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position. The requested temporary workers will be based at 750 Lone Mountain Ranch Road, Big Sky, Montana, 59715, including the county of Gallatin County in the, Bozeman, MT, MSA/BLS Area.

The employer will use a single work week to compute wages due. The pay period is Weekly. The employer will make all deductions required by law. Housing is available at a deduction of $500/month, which includes utilities and internet. Housing is dorm-style, and workers also receive three meals plus snacks throughout the day. All housing is optional for workers. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs for return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.78 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Reimbursement in the first week of work for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the worker (but not including passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). The employer will provide the worker at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job and on-the-job training on the proper use of tools and equipment. The employer guarantees, as required by law, to offer work for the hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
