Wound Care Nurse RNThe Chateau at Brooklyn Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is looking for an ever growing Wound Care Nurse to join our ever growing team.Wound Care Nurse Duties Include but are not limited to:Responsible for accurate and timely documentation of wounds in the nurse's notes at least weeklyResponsible for all treatments required by licensed nurses on your shift and ensuring the wound care treatments are carried out at other times.Evaluate high risk patients for pressure reduction interventions methodsConduct body assessments and documentation on all new admissions per policyRound with doctors weekly to assist with assessing residentsWound Care Nurse Requirements/Qualifications:Must be a self starter, hard working and dedicated professional willing to join our team.Current and valid RN license in the State of NYActive CPR CertificatePoint Click a PlusWound care certification desiredExcellent communication skillsExperience in LTC preferred but not requiredPositive attitude and a team playerSalary: Up to $120,000 a year (based on experience)The salary for this position is negotiable and will depend on experience and qualifications; a full bonus plan will be included.An Equal Opportunity Employer
