Join a team that values teamwork, safety, compassion, and excellence every day.Hours Needed:We are looking for candidates who have open availability, including weekends and holidays.Requirements:Must be at least 21 years old (licensed for a minimum of 5 years)Must possess a valid Washington State Driver’s LicenseMust have a valid EMT certification or IDMust not have more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 yearsMust pass a DOT drug screening and mandatory criminal background checkMust be willing to work weekends and flexible shiftsMust be physically capable of lifting, moving, and securing patients safelyAbility to safely operate stretchers, wheelchairs, and medical transport equipmentMust have strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressureMust have a positive attitude and a genuine desire to help othersResponsibilities:Must be flexible and willing to support multiple transportation services within the company, including wheelchair transport and Basic Life Support (BLS) operations. Depending on operational needs, responsibilities may include driving wheelchair-accessible vehicles, serving as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) on BLS trips to provide patient care, or driving BLS transport units. Candidates must be comfortable performing a variety of duties and adapting to different service assignments as needed.Safely transport patients to and from medical facilities, residences, and hospitals using company emergency vehiclesProvide basic emergency and patient support within EMT scope of practiceCommunicate clearly and effectively with dispatch, healthcare staff, patients, and family membersUtilize a smartphone and company systems for job-related functionsComplete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness and readinessProperly secure patients using stretchers, wheelchairs, and other medical transport devicesMaintain accurate trip logs, reports, and required documentationRespond professionally and compassionately during emergency and non-emergency situationsFollow all company policies, safety procedures, and state regulationsPerform other duties as assigned
