External Job Posting Title Submarine Acoustic Analyst

Responsibilities This is a full time position on-sitein West Bethesda, MD. Peraton directly supports the USN submarine fleet and is looking for a Submarine Acoustic Data Analyst to process and analyze submarine sensor data. This is an excellent opportunity for a USN Sonar Technician (STS or STG) to apply his Navy experience and continue supporting the deploying submarine fleet. The successful candidate will process, analyze, and report on USN submarine acoustic sensor data to establish sensor health. Perform numerical analysis of new sensor data for research purposes. This will require working with USN, government, and Peraton engineers to diagnose sensor and data issues in recorded acoustic data. Qualifications Required: HS and 8+ years of experience as a USN STS or STG Clearance: DoD Secret Clearance Experience performing acoustic analysis Must have working knowledge of MS Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook). Target Salary Range $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
