Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, Stroke Program - Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center

Job Description Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non‑profit healthcare networks, is seeking a full‑time Advanced Practice Professional (NP or PA) to support the Comprehensive Stroke Program. The Neuroscience flagship of Atlantic Health System houses a 29‑bed unit for neuroscience patients, as well as a 10‑bed Neuroscience Critical Care Unit for patients recovering from stroke, brain surgery, seizures, nervous system infections, head trauma and spinal surgery. The Neuroscience Advanced Practice Professional is a member of the neuroscience care team. This role includes direct attending oversight and education during the training/education period with the goal of independent review of clinical cases with attending support when needed. The primary responsibility is the care and management of cerebrovascular cases in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The position requires care to be provided Monday through Friday with a mix of inpatient and outpatient clinic responsibilities depending on the shift assigned. Expectations include promoting equity and excellence in neurological patient care, educational growth both personally and cross‑disciplines to become a leader in cerebrovascular care.
