Warehouse Associate

Job Summary As a Warehouse Associate, you will play an important role in the production of high‑quality products by assisting with stocking and organizing materials in our warehouse. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment and should have experience operating forklifts. Experience working in below 0° temperatures a plus. Duties and Responsibilities Ensure accurate and timely completion of required documentation to enable clear traceability Ensure inbound and outbound loads are handled timely, accurately, and efficiently Manage ERP system transactions Communicate and update all relevant parties of any issues or changes Put away stock into designated areas within the warehouse Pick orders accurately, package them correctly, label them appropriately, and prepare for shipment Operate material handling equipment such as forklift or pallet jack safely while ensuring proper safety procedures are always followed Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse area including sweeping/dusting shelves/racks etc. Comfortable moving at a fast pace and in ambiguous environments Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager Required Skills Experience with warehousing, inventory, and/or logistics Experience working in temperature‑controlled settings Experience with perishable items Proven track record in safe working practices Previous experience working in food production environments preferred but not required Ability to stand for long periods of time High school diploma or GED equivalent Forklift certification desired but not mandatory Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language to ensure effective new‑hire training and ongoing communications about safety and quality issues Desired Skills Able to interact and communicate with supervisors and team members Excellent interpersonal skills needed for working in a team environment Goal‑oriented and well organized Ability to work all scheduled shifts on time Excellent attention to detail Effective verbal and written communication skills Time management Problem solving Planning and organizing Mathematical skills Americans with Disabilities Act Kettle Cuisine complies with all aspects of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and state disability laws. Pay Range for Warehouse Associate The Warehouse Associate base pay range is $19.00 USD hourly. The listed salary range represents Kettle Cuisine’s good faith estimate for this position and represents the minimum and maximum for new hire salaries for the Savage, MD location only. Ranges will be reviewed on a regular basis. An employee’s rate of pay within the range is determined by their qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated performance over time. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. The Warehouse Associate position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package.
