Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Circulator during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients throughout the operation
• Prepare the operating room by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are sterile and ready for use
• Assist the surgical team by providing necessary instruments and supplies in a timely manner
• Monitor and document patient status and surgical procedures accurately
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and infection control standards at all times
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate patient care and surgical activities
• Maintain a clean and organized surgical environment, following all safety guidelines

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice
• Proven experience as a Circulator or in a similar surgical nursing role
• Knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and safety protocols
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and composure
• Flexibility to work PRN hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts
