Step into a hands-on educational environment assisting children as a valued paraprofessional or instructional aide within a supportive team. Ten full-time contract positions are available across several elementary school sites, serving both early learning and elementary-age students. Roles begin August 17, 2026, and run through June 11, 2027, providing the fantastic opportunity to make a positive difference throughout the school year.
Paraprofessionals work directly in classrooms, supporting students and teachers alike. Whether you’re assisting younger children in Transitional Kindergarten or working with 1st to 5th graders, you’ll play an essential role in nurturing learning and personal growth. Schedules are structured for a stable workweek of 32.5 hours, with shifts running either 7:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., ensuring coverage before and after school.
Qualifications:
- Experience supporting children in educational settings highly valued
- Comfort with providing hands-on assistance, including toileting/diapering help when needed
- Must complete a district-provided paraprofessional training
- Flexible, positive attitude, and reliable attendance
- Willingness to work across several elementary school sites as assigned
Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers in general education settings
- Provide support to groups or individual students
- Foster an inclusive and engaged classroom environment
- Help with personal care needs as required
- Communicate and collaborate with instructional staff effectively
