Assignment Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a role in our Medical ICU. This is a 20-bed mixed ICU/Step Down unit catering to patients with severe respiratory failure, sepsis, hemodynamic instability, complex metabolic and endocrine disorders, and more. The ideal candidate will thrive in high-acuity settings providing comprehensive care.

Assignment Details

• Unit Description: Combination of ICU 2:1 and Step Down 3:1 ratios
• Floating required to a sister unit for SD 1:3 or progressive level patients at 4:1
• Weekend and holiday rotation commitment
• Shift: 3x12 Nights
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2295 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring
• Manage invasive lines (arterial lines)
• Administer NIH and TNK therapy
• Operate mechanical ventilation, noninvasive ventilation, or advanced oxygen therapies
• Titrate IV medications including vasopressors, sedatives, insulin, and antiarrhythmics
• Deliver enteral or parenteral nutrition
• Conduct frequent laboratory monitoring and manage complex medication regimens
