Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Associate to join their Capital Markets and Finance Group in New York City. The candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in areas such as structured finance, securitization, public finance, commercial lending, fund finance, or M&A and joint ventures. Duties Draft, review, and negotiate complex finance and transaction documents. Advise clients on financing transactions, managing matters from term sheet to closing. Structure and document joint ventures and investment transactions. Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to deliver client-focused solutions. Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Requirements 3-5 years of continuous law firm experience in relevant practice areas. Licensed to practice in New York State. Strong commitment to developing as a client-focused lawyer. Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in New York State. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
