Emergency Department Registered Nurse

This role involves providing care in a Level 1 trauma center and pediatric emergency department. The emergency department is currently experiencing high patient ratios. Travelers with prior Level I trauma experience will be considered. The unit offers support staff including IV teams, physical therapists, and social services. Nurses will be expected to manage and care for various patient diagnoses including trauma, cardiac, and pediatric cases. The department employs a 5-level triage system to expedite patient care. Candidates must complete required modules prior to starting their assignment. The environment is fast-paced, and nurses should be prepared for a high-volume workload. This position fosters collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Qualifying candidates should demonstrate strong clinical skills in emergency care.
