Key Responsibilities Conduct secure and confidential remote therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families, utilizing telehealth platforms that ensure client privacy and comfort. Perform comprehensive assessments during initial consultations to gain insights into clients' relational dynamics, past experiences, and mental health concerns, ultimately guiding tailored treatment plans. Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies using family systems theory, which enables you to address the unique issues affecting family structures and relationships. Provide immediate crisis intervention when necessary, showcasing your ability to respond effectively to urgent situations while maintaining client safety as a priority. Maintain accurate, confidential electronic records of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans according to legal and ethical guidelines. Educate clients on relationship dynamics, effective communication techniques, and conflict resolution strategies that enhance their interpersonal skills. Work collaboratively with a team of therapists, exchanging insights and best practices to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and family transitions. Qualifications A current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Illinois. A Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. A minimum of two years of professional experience working within the marriage and family therapy domain. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster relationships with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues. A deep commitment to ethical practices and maintaining client confidentiality in all interactions. Preferred Experience Experience in providing therapy via remote platforms is preferred, but candidates with strong in-person therapy backgrounds who are willing to learn remote methods are also encouraged to apply. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience.
