This includes: Doing things they need help with every day, like bathing and getting dressed Keeping the house clean and making meals Doing other things needed to keep the person healthy, safe, and happy This job requires you to do some physical tasks on a regular basis, like driving, helping people move around, and cleaning. You will need to stand, sit, walk, reach, and kneel. You might also need to lift items that weigh up to 25 pounds. Caregiver Requirements: A CNA or HCA A high school diploma or GED A safe car, a driver's license and car insurance A food handler's card and a certificate for First Aid and CPR A good attitude towards helping others The ability to follow instructions and keep records of your work The ability to follow rules for protecting people's privacy Comfort Keepers is strongly considering candidates with previous experience as a Caregiver, CNA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide/Assistant, or similar positions.
