1:1 Registered Nurse (RN) School Nurse
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 nursing care for a medically fragile 3-year-old student in a school setting.
Position Details:
- Provide 1:1 nursing care for a medically fragile 3-year-old student
- Student has a tracheostomy and requires tube feeding
- Student uses a ventilator at night but will not require ventilator support during the school day
- Bus riding will be required as part of the position
- Work closely with school staff to support the student's health and safety
- MondayFriday schedule with approximately 20 hours per week
Requirements:
- Active Illinois RN license
- Pediatric and/or medically fragile experience preferred
- Experience with trach care and tube feeding preferred
- Comfortable providing 1:1 care and riding the school bus with the student
- Reliable and compassionate approach to student care
This is a school-year contract position with a consistent MondayFriday schedule.
Compensation for this position ranges from $28.00 to $45.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
