Primary Responsibilities The Inventory Specialist is responsible for researching inventory discrepancies, running daily cycle count reports, keying in cycle count entries, confirming variances, making multiple inventory adjustments include RTS, investigating product shortages and monitoring inventory moves. Essential Functions Compiles data from purchase orders, invoices and accounting reports and writes, types, or enters information into computer to maintain inventory records Able to communicate with Procurement team and vendors to resolve product problems Uses Voice‑Directed and/or an RF hand‑held unit to cycle count and research inventory variances Uses fixed station computers to analyze, research, and adjust inventory variances Operates material handling equipment to cycle count and research inventory variances Other duties may be assigned, as needed or warranted, by management Minimum Requirements & Qualifications High School diploma or GED required Minimum of six months to one year related experience required Knowledge of the WMiS system and TOLAS Inventory software Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel programs Able to work with RF scan equipment Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The associate is frequently required to stand, walk, and climb. While performing the duties of this position, the associate is subject to a warehouse environment where temperatures can vary from very cool to very warm.
