Job Description

This is a unique company that is well versed in the art and science of catalyst recycling and has been the leader of the catalytic converter and non-ferrous metals recycling industry for over 30 years. We are currently looking for an Laboratory Technician or a with experience in data collection and interpretation as well as being responsible for performing routine chemical testing of samples in a laboratory setting.

Job Description:

- Document each sample accurately and thoroughly

- Follow established written procedures

- Maintain, calibrate, and operate analytical instruments including XRF and ICP

- Prepare chemical solutions used in testing. Testing includes analytical balances, pipettes, and volumetric glassware

- Clean and maintain laboratory glassware

- Keep workspaces clean, safe, and organized

- Track and manage laboratory inventory

- Familiar with lab safety and good laboratory practices

- Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and best practices

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree highly preferred in a Science related field, Biology, Physics or Chemistry. Will take someone with their Associate's but pay will be lower

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hebron, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
