Quality TechThe Quality Tech is responsible for all aspects of the internal quality systems program, including, but not limited to: Testing materials, execution, follow-up and re-validate, if necessary. Maintaining systems and information management. Quality Tech reviews protocols, qualification, and validation procedures documented by the organization. The Quality Tech is expected to follow the procedures and drive consistency of criterion and following best practices across the organization. If a manufactured product does not meet quality specifications, the Quality Tech investigates and reports the findings. The Quality Tech is results and compliant orientated, has a dedication to excellence and sense of urgency to achieve business objectives.Position Responsibilities may include:Audit the areas for ISO compliance by conducting Process and Product AuditsDocument Non-ConformancesCollaborate with the production departments to identify root causes and implement corrective actionsReview engineering BOM and drawings and provide feedbackAssist Quality leadership in continuous improvement projects as assignedDocument and maintain technical reports and complete all required documentation timely and accuratelyBring to the Managers attention, any ideas or opportunities for CIP or QIPFollow all safety procedures including wearing appropriate PPE when requiredPerform addition duties as neededCollaborate with Design Engineering Department to conduct pilot run validation, BOM auditing, drawing and IO /Warrant document reviews for new product launches or ECRsAssist with the Management Audits and write the audit reportsPerform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs.Nature & Scope:Works within well-defined instructionsUses established procedures and works under supervision to perform assigned tasks.Work is closely supervised.Knowledge & Skills:Working knowledge of MS Office - Outlook, Excel, and Word (Proficiency with MS Excel is preferred)Effective verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to understand mechanical and electrical test equipmentFamiliar with use and understanding of basic measurement tools such as Calipers, Micrometer, and Height GaugeAbility to be independent and self-disciplined, allowing for timely audit report submission and follow upAbility to analyze and interpret data and prepare statistical information is strongly preferredStrong teamwork and interpersonal skills and ability to establish positive working relationships with internal and external customersKnowledge on FAI Reports, and Livesource.Basic Knowledge on 4 Ms & 5 WhysBasic Knowledge on 8Ds forms and analysisBasic Knowledge on Pareto, Charts, TrendlinesKnowledge on Minitab, Particulate Test, Oil Residue Test, MicroscopesAbility to apply good judgment, strong work ethic, and integrity on the job.Competencies:Experience:2 + Years of Experience in Quality/ Manufacturing environmentEducation/Certification:High School Diploma or equivalentPeople Management: No Physical Requirements / Work Environment:Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodationsReports To:Supervisor, QualityQualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
