CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager - Construction to join our PMCM Team in Albany, NY , where you’ll partner with project managers and technical teams, help coordinate project execution, and contribute to successful outcomes that benefit our clients and communities. What You'll Do: Assist in preparing proposals, developing scope, schedules, and budgets alongside technical and market teams Address client needs and resolve project issues with professionalism and care Support the planning and implementation of projects from inception to completion, tracking deliverables and reporting progress Create project timelines and schedules with minimal supervision Facilitate communication between office and field staff, ensuring daily operational tasks are completed efficiently and effectively Support compliance with specifications and project schedule and budget requirements What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, science, planning, engineering management or related field required; or equivalent combination of experience and licensure No prior experience required, however, prior internship(s) and/or applicable coursework preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and project management software; knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal Ability to thrive in a collaborative, high‑paced environment Motivated self‑starter who works well independently and supports management Adaptable, calm under pressure, and skilled in problem‑solving and negotiation Why You'll Love It Here: Get hands‑on experience supporting projects that make a real difference, contributing to work that benefits clients and the communities they serve Learn alongside experienced professionals who are invested in your growth, in a collaborative environment that values teamwork, new ideas, and knowledge‑sharing Build your skills in a dynamic setting, with opportunities for local travel, professional development, and exposure to a variety of project types and environments Salary Range: $80,000- $90,000 Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
