Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Keene, NH, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit
• Midwife-led, low-intervention approach emphasizing natural birth with access to broader medical resources as needed
• Patient population spans infancy through adulthood, with a focus on Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Mother/Baby care
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend required with holiday rotation
• On-call requirements to be determined
• Epic EMR required

Requirements

• Active NH RN license or Compact RN license required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Active NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Postpartum and Mother/Baby care experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• AWHONN certification within the past 3 years preferred
• Personal vehicle required
• NH Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required — visit oplc.nh.gov/nurse-agencies for details

Additional Information

• Provides individualized nursing care across the lifespan using knowledge of age-related growth and development
• Candidates must not be simultaneously working another permanent or travel assignment
• Block scheduling and non-standard schedule accommodations will not be considered
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration — a maximum of 5 days of RTO will be accepted, and requests made after an offer is extended will not be approved
• All medical and occupational health compliance items must be ordered, collected, and resulted within 5 days of offer acceptance
