Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our health care team. As a PTA at Pearl Pavilion, you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their maximum potential by assisting with physical therapy treatments, exercises, and activities. Responsibilities:
Assist physical therapists in the delivery of patient care, including exercises, treatments, and activities
Conduct initial assessments and develop treatment plans in conjunction with physical therapists
Implement and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Monitor and document patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and adjustments to treatment plans
Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient care and therapy sessions
Collaborate with other health care professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree or certification in Physical Therapy Assistance (PTA) preferred
1+ years of experience, but willingness to learn and grow with our team
Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
