K-1 Teacher TeachIowa St. Anthony Catholic School, Des Moines, Iowa – open in Google Maps Job Overview St. Anthony Catholic School seeks a K‑1 teacher (half‑day Kindergarten, half‑day 1st grade) for the 2026‑2027 school year. The teacher will work closely with other elementary school teachers to provide rigorous lessons that meet the needs of all students. Essential Duties Teach half‑day Kindergarten and half‑day 1st grade classes. Develop and implement rigorous, differentiated lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards. Collaborate with elementary teachers to support student learning and classroom management. Maintain accurate attendance, assessment data and communication with parents. Qualifications Valid Iowa Teaching License for K‑1 grades. Experience teaching elementary grades in a faith‑based or K‑12 setting.
