This position is based completely remotely, granting counselors the flexibility to provide services from their chosen location while leveraging our state-of-the-art technology to facilitate virtual therapy sessions. Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough initial screenings and evaluations to determine clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health needs.

  • Create comprehensive treatment plans that detail individualized intervention strategies for clients, ensuring they align with best practices in mental health care.

  • Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that encourage personal growth and recovery among participants.
  • \n
  • Continuously monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

  • Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to create cohesive care plans.

  • Provide ongoing support and resources for family members and caregivers, helping them to navigate challenges related to mental health.

  • Manage referrals and coordinate necessary follow-ups with healthcare providers for clients requiring additional support.

  • Stay current with developments in psychotherapy, utilizing evidence-based practices in all therapeutic interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Radiant Spirit Counseling Center, we serve a broad spectrum of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. Our counselors are trained to address both acute and chronic mental health issues while being sensitive to cultural and personal backgrounds, providing a safe space where clients feel understood and empowered.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
  • \n
  • Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
  • \n
  • Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor in various therapy settings.
  • \n
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR or similar platforms.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of the effects and management of physical, emotional, and addiction-related disorders.
  • \n
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience working in a remote clinical setting and proficient in conducting virtual therapy sessions.

  • Background in trauma-informed care methodologies and techniques.
  • \n
  • Familiarity with the guidelines and best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

  • Understanding of psychopharmacology and its implications on mental health treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, along with a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
