• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
• 3 or more years of experience in composite materials or composite manufacturing processes
• Experience with composite fabrication methods (layup, cure, bonding, molding) and associated inspection techniques
• Familiarity with industry standards related to composite materials and processing
• Understanding of mechanical behavior of composites, failure mechanisms, and material characterization

• Develop, characterize, and qualify composite material systems including prepregs, adhesives, resins, core materials, and reinforcement fabrics
• Support composite suppliers through manufacturing processes
• Evaluate composite defects and drive root-cause investigations and corrective actions
• Lead testing activities, generate material allowables and validate process capability
• Interpret engineering drawings and ensure composite process requirements are properly flowed down to suppliers
