Ultrasound Technician

As an Ultrasound Tech, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare team. You will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations to help physicians and healthcare providers make accurate diagnoses and treatment decisions. Your expertise and attention to detail will directly impact the well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality ultrasound scans in various areas, including abdominal, vascular, obstetrics, gynecology, and echocardiography.
• Prepare patients for examinations, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns.
• Position patients correctly to obtain the best images and recordings.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure it is properly maintained.
• Evaluate images for quality and accuracy, and record findings.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and provide compassionate care throughout the examination process.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Registered or eligible for registration with a recognized ultrasound registry (ARDMS, ARRT, etc.).
• State licensure, if required by your location.
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound principles, equipment, and technology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Commitment to patient care and safety.
• Flexibility to work in various clinical settings.
