We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and technically savvy Social Media Coordinator to help power our social content operation across clients, Hutton Broadcasting, and Hutton City Sites. We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and technically savvy Social Media Coordinator to help power our social content operation across clients, Hutton Broadcasting, and Hutton City Sites. Position Summary The Social Media Coordinator creates, edits, and helps manage social media content for Hutton Digital’s client accounts, Hutton Broadcasting, and Hutton City Sites. Client profiles, content calendars, and channel optimization are handled collaboratively with the broader social media team. The Coordinator takes ownership of Hutton Broadcasting’s internal and Hutton City Sites YouTube channels, including publishing and channel optimization. This role also includes editing video content for use across all social media platforms. Key Responsibilities Client Profiles, Calendars & Channel Optimization (Collaborative) Work with the broader social media team to build and maintain client profiles Collaborate on content calendars and scheduling for client accounts Support ongoing channel optimization efforts across client social accounts Communicate with the sales team regarding client needs, updates, and deliverables Hutton Broadcasting & City Site YouTube Channel Management Own day-to-day management of Hutton Broadcasting’s internal and Hutton City Sites YouTube channels Handle publishing, channel settings, and organization for these channels Edit and prepare video content specifically for YouTube, including thumbnails and descriptions Monitor channel performance and recommend adjustments to improve reach and engagement Content Creation & Copy Write, edit, and proofread engaging, on-brand social media copy for a range of clients, Hutton Broadcasting, and Hutton City Sites Create and adapt content to fit the voice, tone, and goals of each individual client or brand Ensure all published copy is accurate, error-free, and consistent with brand and platform best practices Video Editing Edit video content for use across all social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and others) Ensure all video content meets platform specifications and brand standards Collaborate with the Social Media Manager and team on video content plans and priorities General Monitor content performance across platforms and provide input on what’s resonating with audiences Stay current on social media trends and platform updates Collaborate with the SEO, content, and sales teams as needed to support integrated campaigns Qualifications 1–2 years of experience in social media coordination, content creation, or a related role Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills Video editing experience required (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar) Comfortable learning and working within internal tools, systems, and platforms Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) and what performs well on each Comfortable managing a YouTube channel, including publishing and basic channel settings Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client accounts/projects at once Strong communication skills, including cross-team coordination with sales Application Requirements Candidates must be located in Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Durango, Farmington or close surrounding areas and should be prepared to provide examples of previous work, including social media posts, edited social video content, and other social content they have created or edited.
