About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President & General Manager to establish and lead its presence in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for building the Australian business from the ground up, including developing and executing the business strategy, establishing a high-performing organization, and preparing the market for multiple oncology launches. This role demands a leader with a strong background in the Australian biopharmaceutical industry, particularly in oncology, and a proven track record in commercial leadership, P&L management, and strategic planning. The VP & GM will also be tasked with securing optimal market access and reimbursement pathways, building partnerships with key stakeholders, and ensuring the company's values of innovation, collaboration, integrity, and patient focus are reflected in the Australian operations. Applicants for the VP & GM role at the company should hold an advanced degree in life sciences, business administration, or a related discipline, with an MBA, PhD, or PharmD preferred. The ideal candidate will have significant senior leadership experience in the Australian biopharmaceutical industry, a strong understanding of the local pharmaceutical environment, and a successful history of influencing government stakeholders and external partners.
