Day shifts: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30); Night shifts: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Telemetry Unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in telemetry nursing and be able to manage a patient load of 5 patients per shift. The RN will provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients, utilizing advanced monitoring and therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding to changes in patient status.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Assist in diagnostic procedures and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Cerner charting system.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols in patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in PA or Compact license required.
• 1 year of previous charge experience preferred.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.
• Cerner charting experience preferred.
• Required flu vaccine unless medical/religious exemption applies.
