Position Summary The Minibar Attendant is responsible for maintaining fully stocked, organized, and impeccably presented in-room minibars while delivering the luxury hospitality standards expected at Thompson Dallas. This role ensures inventory accuracy, proper product rotation, timely replenishment, and accurate guest billing while supporting an exceptional guest experience through attention to detail, discretion, and service excellence. Responsibilities Accurately inspect, restock, and replenish minibar items in assigned guest rooms according to Hyatt and Thompson standards. Record guest minibar consumption and accurately post charges using the hotel's POS system. Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records, reporting shortages or discrepancies promptly. Ensure all minibar products are fresh, properly labeled, neatly presented, and within expiration dates. Remove expired, damaged, or opened products and report inventory variances. Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked minibar storage areas while following proper food safety and handling procedures. Respond promptly to guest requests for additional minibar items or special orders. Report maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, safety hazards, and guest room issues to the appropriate department. Communicate effectively with Housekeeping, Front Office, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure seamless guest service. Handle guest inquiries professionally while providing courteous and discreet service that respects guest privacy. Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with ordering and stocking supplies as needed. Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, hygiene, and security procedures. Attend required training sessions and consistently uphold Hyatt and Thompson luxury service standards. Support fellow colleagues with flexibility and a team-first mindset. Perform other duties as assigned to support hotel operations and enhance the guest experience. Experience with inventory control, merchandising, or POS systems preferred. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Professional communication and guest service skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment. Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness certifications preferred or required as applicable. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Must be available to work weekends and holidays. Physical Requirements This position is physically active and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift. Candidates must be able to transport and stock minibar inventory, push supply carts, perform repetitive stocking tasks, and regularly lift and carry up to 30 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
